* All sales at Abernathy’s Complete Home Furnishings are final.
Merchandise Warranty
All merchandise sold by Abernathy’s Complete Home Furnishings carry’s individual company warranties.
Abernathy’s is not responsible for warranties or decisions made by individual merchandise companies
regarding warranties. It is the responsibility of the customer to contact named manufacturers regarding
any warranty issues or claims. Items sold "as is" retain no warranty.
Special Orders Guidelines
* All furniture/appliance/appliance parts special orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit.
* Special orders are manufactured to your specifications and may take up to 10 weeks for those shipments to arrive at our store.
* Abernathy’s is not responsible for factory delays in production, parts availability, or any other circumstances
beyond our control that may hinder the delivery of your special order beyond 10 weeks.
* Delivery for your order cannot be scheduled until your complete order has arrived at our store.
Delivery
* Abernathy’s Furniture takes pride in fast delivery and our goal is to deliver your purchase as quickly as we possibly can.
* We will deliver your purchase within 30 miles of our store at no additional cost. Any delivery exceeding
30 miles will be result in a delivery charge of $3 per mile driven beyond the first 30 miles. For example,
if ones’ home is 45 miles from our store one direction (15 miles over the limit), the charge would be $45 to
your home and $45 for return trip equaling an additional $90 charge.
* Due to operational cost, delivery of linoleum and smaller merchandise (Example: appliance parts and
accessories, lamps, etc.) will have a $50 minimum delivery charge unless we have another scheduled delivery
in your immediate area.
* Abernathy’s delivery personnel are not certified for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or flooring services.
Therefore we are NOT able to make any alterations to any aspect of your home for placement of your purchased merchandise.
* Abernathy’s does not install dishwashers, microwave/hood combos, air conditioners, gas appliances or ice maker
water lines. Abernathy’s does, however, connect previously installed water line to the valve of your newly purchased refrigerator.
* If you wish to have the handles of a newly purchased refrigerator reversed, this request must be made before
the scheduled delivery time on the date of purchase.
* If Abernathy’s delivery personnel arrive at a customer’s home and the purchased merchandise does not fit into
its desired location, a complete refund will be given minus a $75 labor and service charge.
* If you choose to take your purchase with you, Abernathy’s is not responsible for any damages or problems that
arise during transportation or installation.
Moving of Customer’s Furniture
Upon your request Abernathy’s delivery personnel will move your existing furniture to another location within
your home to make room for that which we are delivering. Request must be made prior to delivery for scheduling
purposes. A $50 first hour/$25 per hour thereafter labor charge will be necessary if any other items are requested
to be moved other than the previously mentioned items. If you request this, Abernathy’s is not in any way liable
for any damages to your furniture or property that may result from moving furniture other than that which we are
delivering. However, we are not permitted to move or hook up electronic equipment other than power source and
a single coaxial cable because of liability purposes.
Payments/Layaways
* Any account balance remaining is due in full at the time of delivery or pick-up.
* Abernathy’s does NOT accept two-party checks.
* There will be a $35 fee for all returned checks.
* Layaways are to be paid in full within 90 days. Money paid is nonrefundable and merchandise remains property
of Abernathy‘s if layaway is not paid within those 90 days. Any layaway not picked up or scheduled for delivery
within 10 days of full payment will remain property of Abernathy’s Complete Home Furnishings.
