I had this product for short time, but am very pleased with it. It has a few features that I was not aware of on purchase, such as the water filter which is a plus. It is quiet and the features on door are conveniently displayed. It is quite easy to roll out of space for cleaning floor. However, I have been unable to find any rebate for EnergyStar refrigerator from Whirlpool or OG&E.

While I was happy I had only 1 choice to fit my small space without remodeling my entire kitchen (I wanted a side by side with water/ice on outside door) more than a few factors bother me. None of the shelves inside (not the door) are adjustable and none will fit a container of milk - it scraps the refrigerator ceiling. None of the fixed shelves are tall enough. You must put milk on the door. Not sure why the shelves are open on the back so small items can fall thru, but it may be for better circulation. The protective plastic covering was a nightmare to get off and I had to see a youtube video so I didn't damage the finish which required a razor blade. It was all stuck in the seams. Most unhappy that I had to choose to either have the handles level or the top of the doors level. I had the store installers try and fail. Don't seem that the handles are drilled in the correct location. Also, while I chose a dark stainless steel finish, the lower hinge and tubing are visiable and are white and stand out!! Other larger models have the tubing the color of the refrigerator. On the plus side, I am happy with the water/ice dispensor and it performs perfectly.

I don't understand why it's so loud

Have owned this refrigerator for 2 days and am regretting my purchase. I love the look and the features but can not handle the sound. The compressor is so loud and runs all of the time. My call into service left me with an appointment in 2 weeks and a comment that the new high efficiency compressors are loud so there probably isn't anything to fix. I live in a small condo and miss my peace and quiet. I hear it from every room in my home. TV is impossible to hear unless the volume is cranked. Whirlpool...please tell me that this isn't what the compressor is supposed to sound like? How would this pass QA? I work in construction and can say this is not normal!

This will be my last Whirlpool

First let me say that this model was not available for me to see in person when I ordered it from Home Depot. Since this 33 inch model fits perfectly in my kitchen, this was my third identical Whirlpool refrigerator in 20 years. I have also purchased several other major appliances from Whirlpool in the past. I was greatly satisfied with my two previous refrigerators, however I am deeply disappointed in this newest appliance. Shelves are too flimsy and won't hold the weight previous versions of this fridge did. What would possess you to eliminate the ability to adjust the glass shelves since you still can adjust the door shelves. You can barely fit a half gallon of milk on the fixed top shelf. Milk products should always be kept in the colder interior of a refrigerator, not on the door which is opened constantly. Large bottles of soda can only go on the door, and I don't expect the door shelves to last more than a few years because the quality of the plastic isn't there to maintain their weight. When my appliance arrived there was adhesive in several areas that had oozed out and hardened. Sloppy quality control. I still am unable to get all of the saran wrapping out of the gasket seams. I should not have had to level the doors myself. One of the stars that I gave you was simply because the appliance looks good, especially the handles. You need to have consumers review your designs or get new designers. It would have eliminated the dramatic slide for Whirlpool's reputation. Stop thinking high tech and go back to quality

Great Frige!

I bought this refrigerator 4 weeks ago. Delivery and installation was smooth and fast. The cooling started right away so I was able to place my food in it a few hours after the refrigerator arrived. Every feature works great. This one is almost 2 cubic feet smaller than my last one yet I can get all my food in it. That's because the shelving is designed to be more space efficient. The water/ice in the door has worked perfectly . The handles are polished nickel and the refrigerator is black stainless on the front, black shiny patterned paint on the sides. I get compliments on its looks from the neighbors. I'm very pleased with my first ever Whirlpool purchase.

Love the crushed ice feature!

We purchased the Whirlpool side by side on September 5, 2019. It was a special order and received on September 17, 2019 and installed with no issues. We have never owned side by side with ice in the door and are really enjoying this feature. There is not as much room in the refrigerator as we hoped for but have made allowances. The refrigerator is actually too cold at times and we have turned it up. Other reviews stated the refrigerator is loud but we feel it is relatively quiet! GREAT SO FAR!

Small Space Big Features

Have had this fridge for about a month and it is performing just great! We had limited space for a refrigerator, so we had to go with the 33 inch wide model. Ice and water dispensers both work fine and the temperature is nice and steady. I really like the black stainless color, and fingerprints aren't a problem- wipes clean in a jiffy! 4 stars because I would like adjustable shelves and hinge covers on the bottom of the doors The white hinges stand out, probably should be black instead. It makes it look unfinished. All in all I would definitely recommend this for small spaces.

filter for the water is stuck and dealer won't fix

The water filter is stuck and we are unable to release it and dealer won't come to our house and help. also the shelves are not adjustable and a gallon of milk won't fit shelf.It fits on the door but not cold enough and goes bad fast.

Appreciate my old refrigerator more now

I do like the black stainless look and so far the smudge free feature is true. Not seeing marks on it like folks report with stainless steel. The ice maker has changed and the cubes are much smaller, so you need more in each glass. Having a hard time getting used to that. Also, designers, I miss the shelves on the refrigerator side being adjustable so I can determine where items go. Some containers that used to fit on the main shelves have to go on the door now because they are too tall for the shelves. It has also been hard to get used to how long the compressor runs. My vendor tells me this is normal now, but it is noisy and comes on much more frequently than my previous refrigerator. Called my vendor twice about it because I was afraid that I had a lemon. They did come out and look at it. Have only had this a few weeks, so still learning its ways and missing the old fridge.

Whisper Quiet

This frig is so quiet we didn't know what the sounds were. We kept opening the doors to make sure it was working. Even the ice maker (which we use a lot) is quiet.

Small, Loud & Only Somewhat Functional

We purchased this model 3-months ago. In my opinion the biggest problem is that it's too LOUD! The compressor runs almost constantly. Secondly, this unit is extremely small. You cannot place a carton of milk or OJ container on the top shelf, and whatever you do place on the top shelf, sometimes freezes. I can't explain why. Lastly ice dispenser and water dispenser are oddly designed, with levers that often get in the way of each other. Not sure why it was designed this way. Unfortunately we purchased this online, so we didn't get to see/use this appliance prior to buying. Definitely my mistake.

Purchased this because of the height and ability to have ice/water from the door. Cons Loud! Lower vent/cover does not cover the white bushings the door swings on. Looks like it's missing corner covers. I hate to ya wheels really stand out. Shelves do not adjust, and do not operate smooth. Pros Price
