My husband and I just had the best experience while shopping for a couple of new mattresses and a recliner at Abernathy's. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and kind, as well as incredibly patience while we tried every single mattress in the store several times! You can expect a no pressure sales approach, where you will be given all the time you need to look around the store on you own. Once you're ready to ask some questions they will be right by your side and stay with you as long as you need them. We were treated so well, it felt like we were family! Shopping at Abernathys was wonderful in so many ways! The customer service was timely and very helpful in answering all questions. The pricing was very good rates in comparison to other furniture stores (in store and online). The quotes were on time for the furniture. In addition, Abernathys has their very own delivery service which is top notch. Abernathys worked with me based on my best schedule needed for delivery. They called the morning of delivery time to confirm the date and time. The servicemen showed up within that window and quickly unloaded and got everything settled/set up. Overall, great customer experience!

I recently purchased a new construction in the Blue Ridge community. When it came to time to furnish the property I had no clue where to start. I saw many options locally but I decided to take a chance on Abernathy Complete Home Furnishings.. It was no doubt an excellent choice. The staff was very personable and hands on. This is definitely a team environment where the customer comes first. From the greeting in the showroom to the final departure from the dock it is clear you are welcome and you are family. Never at any time did I feel pressure to buy. They did an excellent job answering my questions to make sure I was pleased with my final choice. I look forward to my return.

Abernathy’s makes furniture and mattress buying so easy. I’ve purchased from them in the past for our local cabin. Recently, we decided to buy two new new king mattresses for the cabin. No pressure, only helpful sales. Good selection. Reasonable prices. We weren’t sure what we needed for mattress foundation so Abernathy’s loaded a couple of options on the truck and we decided upon delivery. They have easy to use technology to purchase/pay for rhe foundation we selected via my mobile phone through text links. But best of all, Abernathy’s went out of their way to accommodate our schedule for delivery and set up. “Customer Service” just doesn’t get any better than this. I don’t bother anymore shopping around. Abernathy’s is my “go to” store for furniture and mattresses in Blue Ridge. Highly recommended.

I rarely write reviews for companies but I had to this time. Abernathy’s is the best furniture store I’ve ever worked with. The men and women at Abernathy’s go above and beyond to help you select the right pieces for you. They also go above and beyond if you happen to have a problem with one of the pieces even when the fault does not lie with them. I personally experienced how willing they are to stand behind their products. I purchased a recliner that happened to have a manufacturing issue. The problem didn’t even show itself to a month after purchase. They did everything possible to see that I was satisfied. I have purchased from Havertys, Ethan Allen, and even Lazy Boy before and once I was out the door and the furniture delivered they were done. They would barely talk to you if you had an issue much less attempt to solve that issue. Abernathy’s takes great pride in their customer service. I can call and they will immediately help me and if they can’t answer my question they actually take time to find out the answer. They do not just pass me around and refer me to others. I will recommend Abernathy’s to anybody and I do not do that lightly. Thank you for reading my review and I hope that it helps you decide where to purchase your furniture.

We were in need of a freezer and after looking, found one at Abernathy’s! Went in, did the paperwork, and had delivery two days later!!! Great staff in store as well as great delivery men! It was a tight squeeze and they had no problem maneuvering it in! They even helped move furniture back!!! Would highly recommend this business if you need furniture, appliances, or outdoor furniture!!!

As the saying goes, you only get one chance to make a good first impression. Abernathy’s clearly understands the importance and value of that first interaction. A family owned, local business, we met with professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff throughout our initial furniture buying experience. As many home owners do, we had a bit of ‘buyer’s remorse’ with an oversized sofa for our living space and requested an exchange for a smaller one. The staff at Abernathy’s not only helped us find a suitable replacement, but came and exchanged the sofa the very next day at no charge - well above and beyond the call of duty. With a great selection of affordably priced furniture, helpful and friendly staff, and a family-oriented business mentality, Abernathy’s should be high on your list of places to visit when shopping for furniture.

From browsing the store online to going in - in person, our whole shopping experience was excellent. Fast and easy. Melody e-mailed me and offered assistance, almost immediately. We furnished our entire future cabin with the assistance of Dustin And Crystal who made it an easy and fun experience. Yes, the pricing was good, the selection was impressive but more important was the customer service they provided. I corresponded with Dustin via email until I was able to come in to the store. The day we came into the store to place our order they didn’t rush us and stayed way passed closing hours. They know their products well and were dealing with their supplier confirming delivery dates throughout our dealing. I highly recommend them and Abernathy’s for any of your cabin needs.
